| The camera's resolution is 420 TV Lines. This means it is around the same resolution as a standard television. |
| 2. Is the camera system wireless? |
| No, we only use hard wired cameras and monitors to give the best possible picture quality. Motor vehicles have high levels of electrical interference not only from the car's own electrical system but also from cellphones and other wireless devices. Unfortunately current wireless camera technology does not meet our quality standards. |
| 3. Will the system drain my car battery? |
| No, the camera system only operates when the ignition is on and the gear in reverse so it will not drain your battery. |
| 4. Do I have to turn it on when I want to use it? |
| No, the camera and monitor turn on automaticaly when reverse gear is selected and turn off again when the car is not in reverse. |
| 5. Is the camera dust and water proof? |
| The camera is designed to withstand normal vehicle use dust and water. However do not use high water pressure devices as this will void your warranty. |
| 6. Will the camera work at night? |
| Our camera systems are designed to operate in extremely low light conditions (down to 0.8 LUX). The light from your car's reversing lights are more than enough for the camera to give a clear image. |
| 7. What is the viewing angle of the camera? |
| The viewing angle is 170 degrees for the license plate model. Different models may have other viewing angles, if you require this please discuss. |
